HISTORY
Founder Annette Lee is a nurse who provided patient care in home health and hospice settings in the 1990s. In 2000, she started working for Medicare, reviewing charts to determine if a home health or hospice provider accurately documented what Medicare should pay them. Annette learned quickly that communicating and educating the providers was her sweet spot, and she then went on the road for Medicare to meet with providers and explain how to do things right.
As time passed, she began to see her past experience as a home health and hospice nurse — together with her background in Medicare — combined perfectly. In 2008, she opened the doors to Provider Insights to provide consulting services for home health and hospice agencies.
In the years since, the Provider Insights team has grown, and they’ve provided education, audits, surveys, and more to hundreds of home health and hospice agencies. The real-world experience Annette and the team bring to their clients allows them to offer clarity, confidence, and peace of mind to providers who strive to serve with quality patient-centered care while adhering to the strict rules of Medicare compliance.
